COVID-19

Basin Water Solutions Inc. is working to ensure that homes and businesses across Texas have access to quality drinking water.  In responding to the COVID-19 crisis, our services are deemed “essential” due to the critical products and services we provide and our role in safeguarding our communities’ drinking water.

The health and safety of Basin Water Solutions employees and customers is our highest priority.  With COVID-19 becoming a widespread concern, Basin Water Solutions has implemented preventative measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  At this time, we are taking recommended precautions while continuing regular operations.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an advisory on March 19th advising authorities designate “employees needed to operate and maintain drinking water” as “essential”.  In addition, it identifies as “essential” those “workers such as plumbers, electricians, and other services that are necessary to maintaining operation of residences.”

We have instructed that all employees:

  • Wash their hands frequently (at least 20 seconds), as often as possible
  • Practice safe hygiene
  • Have hand sanitizer with at least 62% alcohol and sanitizing wipes readily available
  • Stay at home if they are not feeling well or have symptoms such as fever or respiratory condition
  • Self-quarantine or seek medical treatment when necessary

We are carefully monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation within the communities we serve and globally.  We will continue to take direction from the CDC and follow its recommendations.
